	Sponsoring is a very important kind of aid to its recipients, and it is very easy to implement for those willing to offer their co-operation. The requested yearly contribution amounts to € 196,00 + €. 18,50 (Registration fee to our Association). We will put you personally in touch with the sponsored person and his/her family, and you will have the opportunity to write to him/her (in English) explaining that you intend to help him/her. Please remember that quite often the addressees can't read English; consequently, they need to have their sponsors' letters translated, and the contents isn't always conveyed properly. Times can become very long, and misunderstandings may sometimes arise from improper translations, also due to cultural and lifestyle differences. Indeed, what is obvious to us may be hard to understand to a Tibetan; the reverse may be true as well. One should not forget that many of these people have no idea whatsoever about how life unfolds outside their camps, and even less so about the way we live. We ask for a three-year minimum commitment. This is rather a moral than a legal duty, and in case of need sponsors can hold up their sponsorships at any time, provided they timely notify the Association;

As soon as our Association receives the sponsor's registration fee and the sum of €. 214,50, the sponsor will receive a card with the picture, the name and the address of the person selected for him/her. At this point the sponsor may start writing to the sponsored person. Quite often a deep personal bond develops; over the years, many members of our Association have travelled to India to meet "their" children, thereby creating real bonds of affection and friendship which extend well beyond the simple economic support.
We believe it is important to support this People, the victim of a physical and cultural genocide, whose culture, going back thousands of years, is at risk of vanishing forever. We therefore thank you wholeheartedly for your contribution, and we are sure it will mark the beginning of a beautiful experience.

Our Association must record in its books all fund transfers and, within the limitations set forth in the Privacy Act, also the personal data of the people whom such funds come from.

(Tibetan Refugee Family Group Assistance Association, non-profit organisation), which is domiciled in Turin, Italy, C.so Montevecchio 64; you have the rights set forth under Sect. 13 of said Law.
