MESSAGE FROM TENZIN WANGCHUK,CAMP-5,HOUSE 60/A,PHUNTSOKLING ORISSA-INDIA.
My name is Tenzin Wangchuk son of Nawang Dhundup from Tibetan Refugee Settlement Orissa (INDIA), Camp no 5 and house no 60/A. I lost my left foot when I was just 16 years old and being a physically challenged person neither I could attend any school during my childhood nor I could play or go out with my friends. Few years ago Mrs. Gloria bought me an artificial leg but as I am growing up year after year it used to give me lots of pain when I walk with it since it was not fitting to my socket. But from10th January 2008 my life got complete changed when Mrs. Gloria and Tibetan Refugee Association bought me a Prolite with Multiflex Foot at the cost of Indian Rupees 63730/- or about Euro 1200. Now I could go out with my friends and the most importantly I could help my father on field and to do some household work.
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks and gratitude on behalf of all my families to Mrs. Gloria, President of Tibetan Refugee Association, Torino (ITALY), and Tashi Samdup for his kind self, who help me to realised my dream and I shall remember your kind help towards me and my family for ever.
Thank you once again to you all.
Tenzin Wangchuk and Family.
